Summer school for all 9-12 grade Hesperia Unified School District students is now open. You must register yourself using the link below and the form will go to your counselor for approval. You may take any course you have previously failed or want to earn a higher grade in, and high school students can also get ahead in any History, Elective, or PE class. If you are unsure of what you should register for, please make an appointment with your counselor for recommendations. 7th and 8th grade students need to speak with their counselor about summer school options.
Here are a few of the most important details:
Dates: June 1st - 29th (No School on June 19th).
Registration: February 7th - March 24th.

A couple of reminders for our High School students:
There will be NO IN-Person instruction on Wed. 1/18/23 at the Main St location as we will be hosting senior portrait sessions. Seniors, make sure you have set up your appointments at https://schoolhousephoto.com/home.
When students come for in-person instruction, please make sure they are picked up PROMPTLY at 10:40am. Teachers begin Zoom sessions at that time and all students need to be off-campus. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

Attention 2023 Graduates...Senior Portraits have been scheduled for Wednesday, January 18th from 10am-4pm here at the Shadow Ridge Main Campus. You will need to follow the directions below to sign up for an appointment. There is a $25 sitting fee. An email was sent out to all students and parents, but please call the front office if you have any questions or concerns.

Next, select School - then select session, then appointment time.
Lastly, they will need to add their contact information and email where the appointment will be sent as a confirmation with session details, cost and yearbook requirements.
Welcome back to all of our Shark Families! As we begin our second semester, we wanted to gently remind you to please keep your students home if they have not been feeling well and especially if they are showing active symptoms. Hi Shark Families!! Show Your Winter Spirit Days. December 19th-22nd
Hello Shark Families:
Next week, 7th and 8th grade students will be on a testing schedule to accommodate i-Ready Reading and math tests. We will only have homeroom Live Sessions starting on Monday December 19th to December 22nd at 8:40 a.m. Other Live sessions will be canceled. It’s the students responsibility to do daily check-in assignments for their current classes. The schedule is posted in each of the middle school students' homeroom Google Classrooms for reference. Please make sure your student logs in on time to test. Please reach out to your student’s homeroom teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

HUSD and the HDAOR (High Desert Association of Realtors) are committed to stopping youth substance abuse. The HDAOR "How to recognize-prevent substance abuse" meetings are aimed at helping parents help children deal with peer pressure, detect substance abuse problems, and/or determine appropriate intervention steps. The HDAOR will host a series of free workshops dedicated to helping those who have not become involved in drug or alcohol use to avoid doing so and encourage those who are struggling with addiction to get the help that they need.
